Meet Our Performers!
Don Moon
A Colorado native, Don is a father and husband, a decorated veteran of Viet Nam, a Senior Electric Engineer, and a well-seasoned actor. He has a bachelors degree in history and uses that degree to entertain as President Theodore Roosevelt. In his position with Red Herring he has entertained more than 7,000 people each year and has coordinated events in five states providing entertainment for a broad variety of convention, corporate meetings, fundraisers, and private shows.
Kaitlyn Bertrand
Kaitlyn was singing before she could talk, dancing before she could walk, and acting since she can remember. Nothing makes Kaitlyn happier than performing for all to see. Kaitlyn has lived in Colorado for nearly her whole life and considers herself a native. Kaitlyn is currently perusing a BFA in music theatre and a minor in secondary education. Her biggest dreams are to perform as a Disney lookalike at a Disney park, to perform in musicals, and and to own more pets than necessary (especially cats).
Heather Gannaway
A classically trained dancer, Heather didn’t consider herself an actor until a local theater director cast her in a supporting role of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” She has danced on stages around the country, has sung with the Celebration Multicultural Ensemble, and has appeared in a television commercial. Her favorite moments are when she makes people laugh. When she isn’t performing, Heather spends her time working in the analytical role of Project Controls Specialist, managing contracts and budgets, and, according to her colleagues, being an all-around Excel Wizard.
Doris McCraw
Doris has had extensive experience in Colorado Springs theater. In addition to acting and casting for Red Herring, she works as an historic storyteller, specializing in early Colorado and Colorado Springs stories and characters, and has coached students in acting and presentation.
MJ Coon
MJ is in the financial services industry but loves to entertain people and make them smile. She has filled that passion in Colorado Springs by working with Red Herring Productions over the past several years. MJ moved to Colorado Springs in 1998 from Orlando, Florida. While in Orlando, she pursued the hobby of acting and was cast in small roles in films, print, and in commercials.
Kevin "The Golden Falcon" Gillmore
Kevin moved to Colorado Springs from his hometown of Austin, Texas in May of 2017 and joined Red Herring Productions immediately thereafter. He has been writing, acting, composing/performing music, and otherwise creating since early childhood. Kevin entered the field of social services in his early 20s, eventually going on to obtain a Master of Social Work degree and associated licensure. He once landed a commercial airliner safely on his own after the entire flight crew took ill due to tainted fish served during the inflight meal. And Leslie Nielsen was there. Kevin is a Taurus. He writes his own bios.
